the heart, the soul, the eternal faith
do you really have to hate it?
the mind, the strength
i don't really think you'll make it
the heart gives love
the soul gives glory
the faith gives hope
the mind thinks on what is to be said
the strength helps to carry on

Why is there so much misery
When no one else but God can see
That there is so much hope and love
So much that comes from God above

Some people claim they can "see the light"
While most other people start to fight
When there's so much guilt and shame
There's always time to find someone else to blame

When there could be so much peace today
The world just starts to fight away
The hope and peace we cannot find
The more and more we start to fight "our kind"

When people think of happiness
They sometimes think of dope and drunkenness
But when there is so much hope and love
No one sees that it comes from God above
